The making of a Dream: What makes ‘Museum Hotel George Molfetas’ unique. Part II
When the time came, however, to ponder on how would I like the rest of my life to play on, after both my children came back from their universities and their travels around the world, I made up a scenario of an almost impossible dream: to create a sanctuary for dreamers like myself, who pray for the uncorrupted continuance of a world of culture, beauty and tender human care.
And then I experienced what Paulo Coelho describes as a collaboration of all he powers of the universe into making something happen: I found this magnificent building in an adds newspaper in Athens, an ex-student of mine discovered a European community financing program that encouraged schemes of history and tradition, I was the luckiest of people to have found the best craftsmen on the island who in 22 months of solid word made this fantastic work of transformation.
